Located at the Dubai Drydocks complex in Dubai, the design and construction of this ship launch and recovery facility included:
- 60 m x 140 m transfer platform, supported on bored piles
- Hydrolift Basin – 65 m x 130 m, surrounded by diaphragm walls to allow excavation of basin floor to -6.50 m CD
- Transfer platform and outer walls of the basin, surrounded by a reinforced concrete impounding wall to +10.00 m CD
- Two abutments and a sill (finished at -6.00 m CD) support the seaward gate
- Sheet pile quay wall and cofferdam
- Berthing dolphins
