The Satah Al Razboot (SARB) project details the reclamation and construction of two artificial islands, SARB1 and SARB2, to facilitate drilling works for the extraction of crude oil as a part of the SATAH Oil Field Expansion and Development.
As a part of the reclamation works, vibro compaction is required on the newly dredged and placed backfill to mitigate liquefaction due to the islands proximity to the Dibba fault line on the east coast of UAE.
