Steel Tubular Piles

Also known as permanently cased rotary piles, this is a variation of the single rotary bored pile method, where the casing remains in the ground and becomes a permanent part of the pile. This may be required for some reasons, for example a marine cast in-situ concrete pile, where a drilled shaft is to be installed in water and the protruding portion of the casing is used as a form for casting the concrete.
