1500 mm dia. piles : 107 nos. to depths of 25 to 68 m
900 mm dia. piles : 218 nos. to depths of 26 m to 37 m
Total length drilled : 14,072.11 LM

≃ 200 points of 0.25 m dia. grouted columns, drilled to a
depth of 10 m
Grouting behind the existing shoring was applied to eliminate
risk of loss of bentonite and to stabilise the ground against
collapse during D-wall works.

Thickness : 800 mm to 1500 mm
Retained height : 9.7 m & 15.2 m

Existing shoring support included the installation of 107
anchors, and 56.8 LM of 813 – 920mm dia. strut pipes.
Support for the new shoring consisted of 60 ground anchors,
and 287 LM of 813 – 1422 mm dia. strut pipes.

Concrete volume : 24,973 m3
Reinforcement steel : 2,766 tons
Excavation volume : 49,313 m3
Dewatering : 10 deep wells
