Yas South Integrated Destination Resort (IDR) Phase 2 Marine Works included the construction of a marine pier with precast gravity block quay wall (reclaimed area – 150m x 65m), floating marina and pontoons for berthing and mooring, cantilevered coping deck to serve as pedestrian walkway and viewing terrace. In addition to the above, other structures included a reclaimed sand box for private bathing, a stepped viewing platform with multi levelled finished levels and a giant sculpture area overlooking the proposed sculpture. Sufficient navigation aids were provided to restrict and/or guide vessels moving around the area.
