In Progress – Foundation Works for Vida Residence

Dubai, UAE, 3 May 2015 – Main foundations and diaphragm wall construction for Vida Residence in Downtown Dubai commenced earlier this week. Vida Residence will be a 57-storey luxury serviced residence, linked directly to Vida Downtown Dubai, a stylish hotel opposite Souk Al Bahar. NSCC International’s scope of works for this project include:

Diaphragm Wall
Length of wall: 319 m
Retained depth: 14.05 – 15.23 m
Thickness of wall: 800 mm
Anchors: 178 nos.
Struts: 7 nos.

Rotary Bored Piles
1500 mm dia. piles, to a depth of 30.55 m – 40 nos.
1500 mm dia. piles, to a depth of 32.0 m – 154 nos.
1000 mm dia. piles, to a depth of 32.0 m – 45 nos.

Excavation volume: 89,428 m³

NSCC was selected as main contractor for this prestigious Emaar project in 2014.
