NSCC Awarded Sub-Contract for Stone Columns Work on Bluewaters Project

NSCC International has been awarded the contract for ground improvement works for the Coastline Substation on Meraas Development’s Bluewaters project. The subcontract was awarded to NSCC by Emirates Electrical Engineering (EEE). The scope of works includes vibro replacement works via installation of stone columns, to enable the construction of a 132/11kV Substation for DEWA.

Located off the Jumeirah Beach Residence coastline, Bluewaters will feature a boutique five-star hotel, varied residential options, a bespoke souq consisting of retail stores, encircled by a promenade that will boast alfresco dining outlets. A 210-meter Ferris wheel will serve as the centrepiece of the island project, offering breathtaking views of Dubai’s coastline and iconic landmarks.
