The project is built on a 159,952.953 m² site across from the Doha Corniche. Designed by Pritzker Prize winner, Jean Nouvel, the museum’s magnificent structure is inspired by a mineral formation known as the ‘desert rose’, commonly found beneath the deserts of the Gulf region.
