Port of Duqm Ground Improvement Works

Ground improvement works employing vibro compaction method was carried out at the government berth area at Duqm Port in Oman. The scope of works included improving the reclaimed land in order to increase bearing capacities and mitigate risk of liquefaction. Surface compaction, CPT and Zone Load tests were also carried out to verify compliance.
